Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Provide 1:1 tutoring in GCSE English and Maths
  • Create tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback
  • Help students develop study skills and exam techniques
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Proven experience in tutoring GCSE English and Maths

  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment criteria
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Organisational skills to plan and manage tutoring sessions effectively

This role involves working with students on a one-to-one basis. The tutor may need to adapt to different learning styles and abilities, and work closely with parents or guardians to support student progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
