We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Tutor to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a GCSE Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring services to students outside of mainstream school. Your main focus will be on delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and helping them achieve their academic goals.

 

  • Plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions 
  • Assess students' strengths and weaknesses 
  • Provide constructive feedback 
  • Monitor and track student progress 

 

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

 

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE students

 

  • Deep understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour 

 

This role is part-time and temporary, with flexible hours. The GCSE Tutor will work closely with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
