As a Cover Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning for students in the absence of their regular teacher. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across a variety of subjects and key stages, ensuring students remain on track with their learning
- Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all students, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment
- Maintain effective behaviour management, ensuring that all students are engaged and adhering to school policies
- Work flexibly, stepping into classrooms as needed and collaborating with other staff members to support the wider school community
- Provide feedback on student progress and any issues encountered during lessons
Key Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), NQT, PGCE, or ECT status
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning environments
- Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to maintaining high standards of education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and a positive, proactive attitude to covering lessons across various subjects
