Are you passionate about supporting students on their academic journey? A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a highly regarded school in Everton, which is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated General Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 classrooms.

Responsibilities:
As a General Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment. Your duties will include preparing classrooms before lessons begin, ensuring pupils have the necessary materials, and providing valuable support to help them achieve their academic goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for supervising and safeguarding students, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.

You will be joining a supportive team, working alongside experienced Key Stage 2 teachers who have been with the school for many years. Your contribution will be valued, and your enthusiasm for education will be greatly appreciated.

Details:

  • Start date: October 2024
  • Fixed-term contract (with the possibility of becoming permanent)
  • Competitive pay rate: £12.90 per hour
  • Working hours: 08:45 am – 3:15 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break

With an average class size of 28 pupils, the school maintains a productive learning environment, and pupil behaviour is exemplary. Free on-site parking is also available for staff.
