Are you a passionate geography teacher looking to make an impact in a dynamic secondary school environment? A vibrant secondary school in Rochdale are looking for a dedicated and passionate Geography teacher to help students explore the world around them and develop critical geographical skills.
 
About the role:

  • Position: Geography Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will aid the learning and development of students by delivering engaging and informative Geography lessons, ensuring they meet curriculum standards
  • You will plan and tailor lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, supporting them in both academic growth and exam preparation
  • You will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, creating an inclusive and positive environment for learning
 
Key Requirements:
  • You must have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • A degree in Geography or a related subject
  • You should have experience in teaching Geography, with strong knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE requirements
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to positively impact young people’s lives
