Are you a passionate Geography teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in students' lives? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Geography teacher to join our team for a maternity cover position starting in September 2024.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Geography Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons to students aged 11-16.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters a love for geography and an understanding of global issues.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and share best practices.

Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
