We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a full-time position from after Easter until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and innovative geography lessons to students of various abilities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and school initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for geography.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
