The Head Teacher of Secondary Academy seeks to appoint a Geography Teacher from September 2024. If you are a Geography Teacher with recent experience of teaching to GCSE standard then I would like to hear from you.

The Academy in Scarborough forms part of a Multi Academy Trust. Paying a pivotal part in its community the Academy strives to be an inclusive, purposeful and high achieving educational community, delivering an outstanding learning experience.

This position will initially be from September 2024, the successful Geography Teacher will be required to teach to GCSE and Key Stage 3 groups on a full time basis. As part of the Geography team you will have opportunity to lead and partake in field trips and residential trips abroad.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

• Daily pay rates of £130-£180, paid weekly
• 2 term full time position
• Supportive SLT
• GCSE teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
