Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Geography teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary School in Gosport who are seeking a full-time Geography teacher to join their dedicated team from September.

As a Geography teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons that inspire a love for geography in the students. You will have the ability to make complex geographical concepts accessible and exciting, encouraging students to develop their critical thinking skills and global awareness.

Your role will include creating lesson plans that align with the curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold a QTS and have a relevant degree in Geography or a closely related subject.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level is highly desirable.
  • Passion for Geography: You should have a genuine enthusiasm for the subject and a strong desire to impart this to your students.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to students of varying abilities.
  • Commitment to Student Success: A dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Innovative Teaching Methods: Ability to incorporate various teaching strategies and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
