GEOGRAPHY TEACHER

WHETHER YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED GEOGRAPHY TEACHER OR NEWLY QUALIFIED, TEACHING PERSONNEL ARE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A SCHOOL IN THE CHELMSLEY WOOD AREA OF SOLIHULL TO FIND A DEDICATED AND PASSIONATE GEOGRAPHY TEACHER.

***TEACHING PERSONNEL WILL PAY TO SCALE ON ALL FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER POSITIONS***

Qualifications:

  • QTS (qualified teacher status) or equivalent qualification
  • PGCE/Schools direct
  • Degree in Geography or similar humanities subject
  • Prior experience teaching Geography within a secondary school
  • Ability to teach mutiple disicplines across the humanities department is beneficial

 

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and deliver exciting Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Assess pupil progress and development on a regular basis, providing prompt and informative feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the department to ensure it is a high performing department
  • Follow schools policies and procedures at all times
  • Create a positive learning environment for pupils to thrive and be the best they can possibly be
