Job Description:

Are you a passionate Geography teacher looking for a temporary role? Do you enjoy inspiring students to explore the world around them? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a vibrant secondary school in Portsmouth!

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Geography teacher to cover for 1 term within a suppoortive secondary school based in Portsmouth. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative geography lessons to students aged 11-16.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching geography at the secondary school level.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a temporary role and hit the ground running.
