Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Geography teacher to work on a full-time basis in one of our OFSTED rated Good Schools within the Kenilworth area of Coventry.

TEACHING PERSONNEL WILL PAY TO SCALE ON ALL FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER POSITIONS!

The ideal candidate will:

- hold a UK QTS (qualified teacher status) or equivalent teaching qualification

- have a bachelors degree in Geography

- have a proven track record of teaching Geography to secondary school aged children

- be a strong classroom presence and express confident behaviour management techniques

- be able to collaborate well with colleagues to enhance the department, this can be through strong interpersonal relationship building and clear communication skills

The role includes: 

- planning and delivering high quality Geography lessons which engage learners and enhance their development and skills

- regularly assess pupil progress through various forms of assessment, providing timely, yet, informative, feedback

- creating a positive learning environment for children of all backgrounds to thrive

- ensuring safeguarding of all pupils and staff is of pinnacle importance, especially when on school field trips etc

- supporting students with special educational needs and providing the appropriate interventions in order for them to succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
