Smile Education are looking for an experienced Geography Teacher to work at a Secondary school in Telford on a Full time basis. This is a long term role with an immediate start.
Successful applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Geography, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
Aswell as:
- Will be able to show strong teaching and learning skills
- Have expert knowledge of Geography curriculum at KS3 + KS4.
- Experience in teaching up to GCSE essential (teaching Geography)
- Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare and deliver Geography lessons in line with the curriculum
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
- Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
