The Graduate Behaviour Assistant will support students in managing their behaviour effectively, providing guidance and assistance where needed. They will work closely with teaching staff to implement behavioural interventions and strategies. Additionally, they will monitor and report on student behaviour, contributing to the development of individual behaviour plans.

A Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is required. Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is essential.

Driving licence is essential for this role

Understanding of behavioural management techniques, strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with a team, patience and empathy when dealing with challenging behaviours.

Postgraduate qualification in Education or Psychology, experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), training in de-escalation techniques.

The Graduate Behaviour Assistant will primarily work within a school environment, collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents. They may need to handle challenging behaviours and adapt to different situations as they arise.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
