Job Description: As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for our students. You will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task with their learning activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting and make a positive impact on young people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Ensure students are engaged in the learning activities provided.
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns.
  • Follow the school’s policies and procedures to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in any discipline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and engage with students effectively.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
