Are you a recent graduate passionate about a career in education? Our Future Teachers Programme in Salford offers a unique pathway to becoming a qualified teacher. This program allows you to start as a Cover Supervisor, providing essential classroom experience and enabling you to develop strong teaching skills while supporting students.

About the Role:

  • Work as a Cover Supervisor for one academic year, leading pre-planned lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Develop hands-on experience in managing behaviour, lesson delivery, and engaging students in learning.
  • Gain insight into secondary education, working closely with experienced teachers and learning effective teaching techniques.

After the first year, successful candidates will progress to a salaried teacher training program within the same school, where you'll earn while training towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent graduate with a degree, ideally related to core secondary subjects.
  • Strong communication skills, confidence, and a natural ability to engage students.
  • Passionate about education, with a desire to support young people’s academic and personal growth.
