Teaching Personnel are searching for future aspiring teachers who are looking for paid learning experience within an excellent secondary school. With the programme, it allows for you to explore your career in education that can help you obtain your qualified teacher status.

Our programme is designed to provide aspiring teachers with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to succeed in the classroom. You will receive comprehensive training in pedagogy, curriculum development, assessment, and classroom management.

You will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through placements in local schools. To be eligible for our programme, you must have a degree from a recognized university and a strong academic record. You should also have excellent communication skills, a commitment to lifelong learning, and a passion for working with young people.

  • Opportunity to be placed into a full-time role after the end of the course.
  • 1-year first-hand experience in the classroom supporting pupils within your subject specialism with a mentor and the opportunity to cover lessons gaining the skills required prior to enrolling on to the school’s teacher training programme from Sept 2024.
  • Previous experience with young people is desirable although not essential for this role.

With this opportunity it allows for the candidate to earn £400 - £500 per week within the school, whilst working as a Teaching Assistant, with the added opportunity to cover lessons where needed to allow for valuable experience.

We are currently having a vast number of applicants coming through who are showing keen interest in the programme, meaning there will be a limited number of placements available for the September start.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
