Student Support Advisor 

Monday-Friday, 28 hours per week. 

The school based on the east side of Southampton are seeking to employ a Student Support Advisor as it embarks on its next phase of growth, it seeks to appoint new team members to support its journey toward excellence. The goal is to provide an exceptional educational experience for every student, guided by values and a culture of ambition, excellence, kindness, inclusion, and community.

The school is looking for highly motivated and committed candidates for the role of Student Support Advisor. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and the resilience to support a range of students across all subjects, helping them maximize their potential. Adaptability is essential, as is the ability to relate well to both students and teachers. A passion for enabling students with a variety of additional needs to reach their full potential and become well-rounded, independent individuals is at the core of this role. Candidates should demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude, help maintain morale, be approachable, and have excellent interpersonal skills.

A desire to make a difference and a good sense of humor are equally valued. While previous experience in a similar role is desirable, it is not essential. Applicants should have a good standard of numeracy and literacy.

The school also welcomes applications from individuals considering a career in teaching and those who have a degree in a curriculum based suject.
