Are you a recent graduate looking for an opportunity to work in education?

Teaching Personnel are Urgently Seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants to start at out partnered secondary school in Birmingham.

To be considered for this role starting September 24, you must have a passion for helping children succeed in education!!

Working with Teaching Personnel:

Working with Teaching Personnel will give you the opportunity to work when you choose. You will have access to an online diary where you can edit the days you want to be available. This is a great way to achieve a better work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Assist the class teacher in carrying out their lesson plan.
  • Manage behaviour issues that occur.
  • Provide 1:1 tuition with students requiring extra support in their subjects.
  • Lead small group intervention sessions.
  • Be willing to assist in extracurricular activities.
  • Promote healthy eating and hygiene.
  • Implement the aims, policies, and ethos of the school.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Available 4-5 days a week.
  • Basic English and math knowledge.
  • Willing to apply for a Child Workforce DBS.
  • UK resident.
  • UK driving license.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
