We are looking for compassionate and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools across Southampton, working with students who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting SEN students in both one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Implementing personalised learning plans and adapting materials to suit the needs of students.
  • Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students with additional needs.
  • Collaborating with the SENCO and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for SEN students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
