Graduate Teaching Assistant – Full-Time in Chorlton-cum-Hardy

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to work at an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Chorlton-cum-Hardy. This full-time position begins in October and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for the role to become permanent based on performance.

Role Overview:

  • Supporting teachers across a variety of subjects, assisting with lesson planning and classroom activities.
  • Working closely with individual students or small groups, offering tailored academic support to help them achieve their learning objectives.
  • Helping manage classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning environment for all students.
  • Assisting in the preparation of resources, setting up materials for lessons, and providing additional help during practical activities.
  • Offering targeted support to students with additional learning needs, working alongside the SEN department to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers to inform future planning and support.
