Graduate Teaching Assistant – Full-Time in Chorlton-cum-Hardy

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Graduate to join an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Chorlton-cum-Hardy as a Teaching Assistant. This full-time role is set to begin in October and will run until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent based on performance.

Role Overview:

  • Provide classroom support across various subjects, working closely with teachers to ensure students are fully engaged and supported in their learning.
  • Assist students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, offering targeted help with classwork, homework, and exam preparation.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment where all students feel encouraged and supported.
  • Contribute to lesson planning by preparing resources and supporting teaching staff with differentiated materials for students with varying needs.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to ensure students stay on track with their learning goals.
  • Work with students who require additional support, helping them develop confidence in their abilities and keeping them motivated.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to students, encouraging their academic and personal development.
