The Permanent Workforce team at Teaching Personnel are working alongside one of our partner Multi Academy Trusts to assist their recruitment for a Head of Art & Design beginning from September 2024. This is a full time, permanent position for one of the trusts secondary schools in Portsmouth and Qualified Teacher Status is essential.

Salary: £30,863 - £47,182 + TLR 2b

The school is located in the centre of Portsmouth, which makes is easily accessible for individuals who use public transport, as there are many links to surrounding areas. Drivers can use the A2047, which takes you directly to the school.

The ideal educator will be a fully qualified teacher and will have experience delivering the Art & Design curriculum to KS3 and KS4. They must also have a strong passion for teaching Art & Design and be able to convey this to their students to ensure they receive the best possible learning experience. Previous Head of Department or Subject Lead experience is desirable but not essential.
