Are you an experienced Geography teacher looking for the next step in your career? A fantastic secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of Geography to join their team, starting in November 2024.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: November 2024
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • Teaching Levels: Key Stage 3 & 4
  • Additional Responsibilities: TLR 2c

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Geography department, driving forward the curriculum and supporting colleagues
  • Inspire and engage students across the age and attainment range
  • Foster a positive learning environment, promoting excellence in Geography education
  • Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the subject area

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level
  • Strong leadership skills with a vision for departmental growth
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for Geography
