Are you a skilled Maths teacher looking to step into a leadership role? A fantastic secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head of Maths to join their team, starting in November 2024.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: November 2024
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • Teaching Levels: Key Stage 3 & 4
  • Additional Responsibilities: TLR 2c

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Maths department, driving curriculum innovation and supporting colleagues
  • Inspire and engage students across the age and attainment range
  • Foster a positive and challenging learning environment, promoting excellence in Maths education
  • Play a pivotal role in the strategic development of the subject

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • Strong leadership skills and a vision for departmental success
  • Passion for student achievement and mathematical excellence
