Smile Education are working with a Secondary school in South Staffordshire to appoint a Head of Department for Design Technology.
This is a full time , long term role with an immediate start.
Applications are welcome from inspirational, dedicated and talented D.T teachers who have a proven track record of successful D.T teaching and achievement across all abilities at Key Stage 3 and 4. Furthermore, the successful candidate will want to progress their career by leading the team to support the learning and teaching of the pupils.
Requirements for this role :
- QTS qualifications
- Experience teaching D.T to a high standard
- 2 education-based references in the last 24 months
- An enhanced DBS (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you which will be refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role)
- Passion for teaching and good approach to behavioural management
