A leading Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead English Teacher to join their Westbury site. This role is ideal for an educator dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering an inclusive, engaging English curriculum tailored to the needs of each student. The Lead English Teacher will also mentor and support a team of educators, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in English.
  • Proven experience in teaching English, preferably within an SEN setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and inspiring teaching teams.
  • Excellent understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and ability to differentiate instruction effectively.
  • Passionate about creating a positive learning environment that fosters growth and confidence in students with additional needs.
