Salary: £200 - £250 Per day

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Humanities to join our team in West Midlands, Birmingham. As the Head of Humanities, you will be responsible for overseeing the humanities department and leading the development of appropriate syllabuses.

  • Manage and lead the humanities department
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning within the department
  • Provide leadership and support to humanities staff
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the department
  • PGCE
  • QTS
  • Degree in Geography or History or a simular field
  • Previous experience working as a Head of Department
  • Experience working in schools within the UK
  • Ability to oversee the humanities department effectively
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and best practises
  • Experience in curriculum development
  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Contract position with full-time hours
  • Work within a school environment
  • Collaborate with other department heads and school management
