Our Sixth Form is a vibrant and integral part of the school community, offering a wide range of academic and extracurricular opportunities.

Currentlyseeking an inspirational and dedicated Head of Sixth Form to lead and manage our Sixth Form provision. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of the Sixth Form, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and direction for the Sixth Form.
  • Oversee the academic progress and pastoral care of Sixth Form students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student recruitment, retention, and success.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture that supports student well-being and personal development.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to student education.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Manage the Sixth Form budget and resources effectively.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A proven track record of successful leadership in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within a Sixth Form environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree.
