Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and informative lessons to students, fostering their understanding and appreciation of health and social care topics. This part-time role, spanning four days a week, offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' education and future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons to students.
  • Develop and implement effective schemes of work and lesson plans.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and attainment.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and professional development activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Health and Social Care curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care at Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
