Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Health and Social Care Teacher to deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore the health and social care sector, fostering a love for learning and promoting an understanding of key concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

✓  Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Health and Social Care to KS3 and KS4 students.

✓ Develop and implement effective schemes of work and lesson plans.

✓ Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.

✓ Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

✓ Stay current with curriculum developments and educational practices in health and social care.

✓ Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student well-being and academic success.

✓ Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

✓  A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is essential.

✓  A degree in Health and Social Care, Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred.

✓  Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS3 and KS4 is highly desirable.

✓  Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and assessment practices.

✓  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

✓  A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering student success.
