Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel have been approached by a Specialist Provision in Colne who are requiring a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant. The School provides an exciting and enriching environment, with a range of opportunities for social and educational inclusion. The school caters for pupils with pasta trauma and is a trauma informed provision for students aged 11-16 years.

Important information

-          £13.00 - £14.00 p/h

-          Full-time Monday - Friday

-          8:30am – 4pm

-          Temp to perm position

Duties include:

-          To implement pupil's individual / small group interventions

-          To support staff and families with implementing key strategies such as visual supports, social stories, etc where appropriate

-          To develop positive relationships with pupils and staff to assist pupil progress

-          To take responsibility for implementing agreed systems for pupil supervision and develop good relationships with pupils to support positive behaviour.

-          To liaise with parents/ carers re interventions/ strategies to support at home and promote positive home/ school liaison

-          To contribute to meetings as required

-          To take care of their own and other people's health and safety.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
