Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with Schools in the Dorchster area who are seeking High Level Teaching Assistants to work on a Supply/Cover basis for both short & long-term positions. 

This will be to work acorss year groups from Key Stage 1 up to Key Stage 3 for Middle School positions. You wil be booked day-today, week by week or for longer term positions depending on school requirements. 

Role:

• Flexibile role supporting Teachers with pupils who may require more attention than others. 
• Supporting puils with Special Educational needs, for example ADHD, ASD or physical difficulties.
• Working anywhere from 1-5 days a week. 
• Potential for temporary to permanent roles for the right candidate.
• Working across year groups and schools.

Requirements:

• Experience working with Children or Adults with more comlex needs.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of SEN and what that might entail. 
• Desire to deliver exceptional support to the class teacher and pupils.
• Ability, knowledge and experience working with small groups or 1 to 1 with individuals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
