Education and Training

£29,269 - £31,364 per annum

  • Supporting teachers in the delivery of lessons
  • Assisting with classroom management
  • Working with individual students or small groups to provide extra support
  • Helping to prepare teaching materials
  • Supervising students during break times and outings
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to teaching
  • Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • Clear understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Level 6 qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools or equivalent

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Level 4 or higher qualification in supporting teaching and learning in schools
  • First aid certification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
