Role Overview: As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting classroom teachers and enhancing the educational experience for our students. You will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, provide one-on-one and small group support, and contribute to the overall development of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide targeted support to students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Lead small group interventions and support catch-up sessions.
  • Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supervise and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Requirements:

  • A relevant HLTA qualification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and student success.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
