Position: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Burnley Area
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Pay: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team at an Alternative Provision in the Burnley area. If you are passionate about supporting students who thrive in a non-mainstream educational environment, we want to hear from you!

  • Deliver tailored learning support to small groups or individuals.
  • Assist in the development of educational plans to meet each student's unique needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive attitudes towards learning.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent).
