A vibrant and inclusive Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Tottenham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their permanent staff team from January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across the primary age range.
  • Leading small group interventions and whole-class teaching when required.
  • Assisting with planning and delivering learning activities to support pupil progress.
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and supporting the school's values and ethos.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent, with experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Proven experience in working with children across Early Years, KS1, and KS2.
  • Confidence in leading whole-class teaching, small groups, and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and commitment to pupil well-being.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
