An Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive and dynamic team on a permanent basis, starting in January 2025. The Role:

The successful candidate will:

  • Work alongside class teachers to provide high-quality learning experiences for pupils across the school.
  • Cover classes across Key Stages 1 and 2 in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons.
  • Provide targeted interventions and support for individuals or small groups of pupils to help raise achievement.
  • Assist in planning and preparing engaging lessons and activities.
  • Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support the development and delivery of learning resources.

Requirements:

  • HLTA status or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Previous experience working as a HLTA or in a similar role within a primary school setting.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the school.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Commitment to promoting equal opportunities and inclusivity within the school.
