Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Key Stage 1
Location: Wednesfield
We are working with a local school who are on the lookout for a confident HLTA to support and deliver lessons across Keystage 1. The role is an ASAP start on a long-term, full-time basis. Suitable for any ECT's wanting to gain more experience.
The Role:
- Lead and deliver targeted interventions and support to Key Stage 1 students under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of individuals and small groups.
- Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and other key skills through structured activities and resources.
- Supervise students during independent and group activities, providing guidance and encouragement as needed.
- Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a HLTA in a Key Stage 1 setting.
- A relevant HLTA qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- 24 months of references with at least 1 from working with children in schools in the UK.
- Valid right to work in the UK documentation
- A valid DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain one.
