• Assist teachers in the delivery of quality learning experiences for students
• Provide support to students with their learning tasks
• Supervise students during activities and break times
• Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and stimulating learning environment

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Prior experience working in a school setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Understanding of child development and learning processes
• Basic knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety regulations

• Level 4 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
• First Aid certification

This role involves working within a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. The work may require standing and moving around for extended periods.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
