Bike Project HLTA – Didsbury (M20)

A SEMH Provision based in Didsbury are currently seeking a HLTA to support their ongoing Bike Project. This role can either be one full day per week or spread across two half-days per week, depending on the incoming HLTA’s availability. This role will begin in September in a small provision accommodation for pupils with SEMH needs, with additional needs such as ASC, ADS, ADHD, Attachment Dysregulation, Anxiety, SLCN etc. This provision works with both secondary and post-16 pupils.

The incoming HLTA must hold basic bike maintenance knowledge and be able to lead small groups of pupils throughout this project. Experience with SEN and/or SEMH pupils is essential. The successful applicant will earn £90+ per day, paid weekly on timesheets through PAYE with no agency fees or umbrella company. The school are seeking a dependable and proactive HLTA who can build positive and trusting relationships with their pupils. Behaviour management is incredibly valuable for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
