Role and Responsibilities: As a History Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic history lessons to students aged 11-16.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that inspires a love of history and critical thinking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Qualifications and Experience: The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in History or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching history at the secondary school level.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
