About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated History Teacher to join a vibrant school community in the picturesque town of Teignmouth. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for history and the ability to engage students of all abilities with innovative and inspiring lessons. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing history lessons for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, helping students to explore and understand the events, people, and movements that have shaped our world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the national curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of assessment methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
  • Support the school's ethos and contribute to the wider school community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of the history curriculum across all key stages.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A passion for history and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
