About the role: We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Secondary History Teacher, your responsibilities will involve planning engaging and interactive history lessons that cater to different learning styles, fostering a love for history among students. You will also be expected to complete marking, provide constructive feedback on students’ work, track their progress, and support their academic development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • A bachelor’s degree in history, Education, or a related field
  • Relevant teaching experience in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for history
  • Organisational and time management skills for effective lesson planning and assessment
  • Outstanding communication skills to connect with students, parents, and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
