Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical inquiry and a love for history
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to reach students of all abilities and backgrounds
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and engage in school-wide initiatives to support student development
- Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in history, with a commitment to inspiring students
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
- Team-oriented and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude towards school community involvement
