Education and Training

£13.50 - £15.00 Per hour

• Assist in planning and delivering learning activities under the guidance of a qualified teacher
• Support individual students or small groups in the classroom to ensure their learning needs are met
• Help to maintain a positive learning environment by promoting good behaviour and engagement
• Contribute to the assessment and recording of student progress
• Supervise students during break times and off-site activities

Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Prior experience working in a school setting as a Teaching Assistant or similar role

• Understanding of child development and learning processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

First Aid certification

This role may involve standing for extended periods, occasional lifting of heavy objects, and exposure to typical classroom environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
