Job Title: Temporary Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Croydon
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a temporary position in Croydon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Maths and English and will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging Maths and English lessons. - Supporting students with their learning on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. - Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment. - Conducting assessments and tracking student progress. - Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students. - Providing feedback to teachers and parents on student performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar HLTA role. - Strong knowledge and teaching experience in Maths and English. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or related fields.
