We are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving Vocational Centre in the Runcorn area. This is a full-time position working with learners of all abilities, providing them with high-quality work-based learning opportunities.

The Vocational Centre offers a range of courses designed to help students develop essential skills, increase their independence, and achieve accreditation through various vocational pathways. These include:

  • Hair and Beauty
  • Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Engineering
  • Construction
  • Painting and Decorating

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom support to learners across all vocational pathways
  • Work alongside teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning
  • Lead and support pupil interventions, ensuring each learner has the opportunity to succeed
  • Set positive examples and contribute to the overall development and well-being of our learners

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have experience in working with young adults of varying abilities
  • Is passionate about vocational education and supporting student growth
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is proactive, patient, and a great team player

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
