About the Role: As a Support Staff Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students. Working closely with teachers and other staff members, you will provide valuable assistance in the classroom, help manage student behaviour, and contribute to creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
  • Support the classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Help prepare educational materials and resources.
  • Participate in school events, excursions, and extra-curricular activities.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Humanities (e.g., History, Geography, English, Philosophy, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting student development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
  • Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential.
