A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Humanities Teacher in the Middlesbrough area. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing an engaging curriculum that enables all students to thrive and progress in their humanities studies. They will be a highly skilled practitioner with a drive to enhance the educational experiences of their students.

Overview

  • Pay Rate £30,000-£46,525 depending on experience
  • Full Time position on a long-term basis
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
  • Subject experience is also essential
  • Great transport links close to school

Roles and responsibilities

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils
  • Plan, deliver and mark lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning across a variety of subjects
  • Contribute to the departments journey of continually improving results
  • Array of extracurricular activities to be a part of
  • Building relationships with the students to be able to support them in their development
  • Monitoring the progression of the pupils, being able to give feedback to the pupils, teachers and their parents
